The Ca’s Patró March is one of the most beautiful places of the island and yet simple and pure. A fishing family has been running this authentic restaurant for many years. A wonderful place to eat grilled fish in the idyllic, rocky bay of Deià – here it is called pescado a la plancha. But the most delicious madness are some starters, especially the Mallorcan speciality Croquetas de jonquillo belongs to the culinary must, although one also sacrifices some karma points with it. Because the tiny little baby fish – which must not grow big – are simply baked with egg and parsley into delicious crispy croquettes. Due to the fish population, the mini fish may only be caught in strictly regulated conditions and are therefore not always on the menu. The Boquerones en vinagre , the Chipirones – small squids – are also fresh and good. The salad does not necessarily have to be ordered, it is a bit too simple. Under the thatched roof it just sits so wonderfully that we also give away the plastic basket chairs. To sit at the simple wooden tables and enjoy the fantastic view. It couldn’t be nicer, especially when the sun goes down.
